We've Been Where You Are.

We didn’t set out to start a LENS practice; we were simply two mom friends seeking help for our own families.

Like many parents, we were navigating challenges that felt overwhelming at times and searching for ways to support our families. That search led us to LENS neurofeedback, and the impact on our families was both profound and personal. We saw improvements in regulation, resilience, attention, sleep, and overall well-being in ways we hadn’t experienced before.

What began as a step of hope for our families quickly grew into something more. We saw the power of LENS firsthand, so we're excited to share it with our friends and loved ones.

Today, we have the privilege of walking alongside many others on that same journey. While we work with many children and families, LENS is not just for kids; it’s a powerful tool for individuals of all ages. Whether you’re navigating stress, emotional challenges, focus issues, or simply looking to feel more like yourself again, we believe in the brain’s ability to heal and adapt at every stage of life.

Our practice is built on both professional training and personal experience. We care deeply about our clients because we’ve been there ourselves. It’s an honor to support each person who walks through our doors, and we’re continually inspired by the growth, healing, and hope we get to witness every day.

Melissa Hoffman, BSW

I’m a wife, mom to three sweet (and very energetic!) boys, and a Franklin local since 2010.

When I was first introduced to LENS, I was curious and also looking for something that could help me show up with more energy, less reactivity to stress, and more peace in the midst of a busy life. After experiencing it myself, I was amazed by the difference. My nervous system was able to reset. I felt calmer, clearer, and more present with the people I love most.

With a degree in Social Work and a heart for helping people, I’ve always been drawn to walking alongside others as they navigate life’s challenges. There is something sacred about being invited into someone’s story and supporting them as they move toward healing and growth.

LENS has been a gift in my own life, and I’m honored to offer it to others. My hope is that every person who walks through our door feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged as they pursue greater health and well-being.

I have the privilege of being Mom to three energetic, loving, and joyful boys! In addition to providing LENS for clients, I also get to work full-time at an amazing local non-profit.  You can usually find me with a Coffee or Fresca in hand, a smile on my face, a full heart, and bags under my eyes…but maybe LENS will help with that?!

When I was a stay-at-home mom and part-time therapist, I provided hundreds (yes, I’m serious!) of traditional neurofeedback sessions for my own sons.  I believed in it completely and saw the benefits over time. Then, my life changed, and I needed support as much as my sons did.

That’s when I was introduced to LENS. My own LENS journey led to deeper sleep, more energy, mental clarity, and a nervous system that finally felt calm.  At this stage of life, those things aren’t luxuries…they’re everything!

I do not say this lightly - LENS has literally changed my family for the better. Better sleep, emotional regulation, more laughter, less anxiety…these are a few of the outcomes we have experienced. Life is still happening, of course; nothing stays the same or is perfect. But how we are engaging with what happens has completely changed for the better.

For that reason, Melissa and I couldn’t keep LENS to ourselves.  We couldn’t wait to share it with our family, friends, and clients. Come see for yourself.
